Remember your PIN

Tricks to remember your PIN

Your Kadmos card’s PIN is assigned to you, and it’s crucial for making secure transactions. Since you cannot change or set your PIN, it’s important to memorize it carefully. Here are some tips to help you remember your PIN safely without writing it down.

1. Associate Your PIN with Something Familiar

Although you can’t choose your PIN, you can still associate it with something meaningful to help you remember it. For example, think of:
  • Numbers from a familiar address or a memorable place.
  • What the pattern of your PIN looks like on a keypad

2. Repeat It to Reinforce Memory

When you first get your PIN, repeat it to yourself several times in a private place. Repetition will help lock the number into your memory. Be cautious not to say it aloud in public.

3. Break It Into Smaller Groups

If remembering four digits is challenging, break the number into two sets. For instance, if your PIN is 5238, think of it as 52 and 38. Splitting the digits can make it easier to memorize.

4. Use Your PIN Regularly

Regular use helps reinforce your memory. Whenever you make a transaction or ATM withdrawal, enter your PIN to strengthen your recall. This will make it easier to remember over time.

5. Never Write Down Your PIN

Even though memorizing it might take time, never write down your PIN. If someone finds it, they could access your account. Use the methods above to securely commit it to memory.

Your PIN is automatically assigned by Kadmos, so it’s important to memorize it securely. By following these tips, you’ll be able to recall your PIN easily and keep your transactions safe.
