Refunds from Merchants

Get your money back

If you've purchased something and need a refund, here’s how to handle the process smoothly:

1. Contact the Merchant First

Before taking any further steps, try to resolve the issue directly with the merchant. They may be able to correct the mistake and process the refund quickly. Always keep records of your communication with the merchant. Completing a chargeback claim can take 90 days so if you are able to resolve the issue with the merchant directly, you will get your money back sooner!

2. Make a Chargeback Claim

If the merchant refuses to refund you or you don’t receive a response, you can make a chargeback claim through Kadmos. A chargeback is a way for Kadmos to request a refund from the merchant’s bank.
  • Time Limit: You must make the claim within 120 days of purchase.
  • Evidence: Keep copies of your invoices, receipts, and communication with the merchant to support your claim.

3. Monitor the Status of Your Claim

Once your chargeback claim is filed, Kadmos will process it with the merchant’s bank. Keep in mind, there’s no guarantee the chargeback will be successful, but providing as much documentation as possible strengthens your case.

4. Refunds for Fraudulent Payments

If you notice any unauthorized charges on your card, contact Kadmos immediately. With Zero Liability Protection, you are not responsible for fraudulent transactions and can receive a refund.

By following these steps and providing sufficient evidence, you can efficiently request refunds and protect yourself from unauthorized charges.
