Protecting your PIN

Dos and Don’ts of PIN security

Your PIN is the key to your Kadmos card's security, and it’s important to keep it safe. Here are some essential tips to protect your PIN from fraud and misuse:

1. Don’t Write It Down

Never write your PIN on paper, in your phone, or anywhere it could be found by others. Memorize it instead to keep it safe from theft or accidental exposure.

2. Don’t Share It with Anyone

Your PIN is personal and should be kept private. Never share it with anyone, not even Kadmos support. No one from Kadmos will ever ask for your PIN, so be cautious of anyone requesting it.

3. Be Aware of Your Surroundings When Entering Your PIN

When using your card at an ATM or point-of-sale terminal, always be aware of your surroundings:
  • Shield the keypad with your hand while typing your PIN to prevent others from seeing it.
  • If someone is standing too close, wait until they move or ask them to step back.
  • Avoid entering your PIN if you notice anything suspicious about the terminal or the people around you.

4. Monitor Your Transactions

Keep an eye on your Kadmos app for any unusual transactions. If you see any suspicious activity, report it to Kadmos customer support right away to protect your account.
By following these steps, you can keep your PIN secure and enjoy peace of mind when using your Kadmos card.
